Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst to support a sales team in Brantford. This role will focus heavily on Microsoft Excel, including organizing and maintaining sales data, analyzing trends and performance metrics, creating pivot tables, and preparing reports that help support sales strategies and business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and possesses strong Excel skills. In addition to data analysis and reporting, this individual will provide general administrative support to the team, including phone and email correspondence.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, maintain, and update sales data using Microsoft Excel.
- Analyze sales trends, performance metrics, and other business data.
- Build and maintain pivot tables, spreadsheets, and reports to support the sales team.
- Compile data into clear, accurate, and usable reports.
- Assist the sales team with data-related requests and reporting needs.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across spreadsheets and reports.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support as required.
- Assist with professional phone and email correspondence.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in data analysis, reporting, sales support, administration, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience creating and working with pivot tables.
- Experience analyzing and organizing business or sales data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic executive or administrative support experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Brantford, Ontario.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience supporting a sales team.
- Experience creating recurring sales or performance reports.
- Experience with advanced Excel functionality such as XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, conditional formatting, charts, and data cleaning.
